Disney Cruise ships are very well organized with great programs while on the ship or on an shore excursion. I'm not sure which cruise you are planning but Disney has both Carribean and European cruises planned.
We were on the Disney Magic and we had a wonderful time. Disney picked us up at the airport, took us to the pre-cruise hotel. Check in was a breeze and we were impressed by the crew members, activities/programs, shore excursion tour guides.
Meals are served in several menus. IF you prefer the pre-arranged sit-down meals, you are rotated between 3 Disney themed restaurants, or you can go to the buffet, pizza or outdoor grill.
Shows an other entertainment are scheduled throughout the day and you are provided with daily events in your cabin and on TV.
The rooms on Disney ships are almost like mini-suites on other cruise ships. The dual/split bathroom was a plus especially in the morning when you're getting ready.
You'll have a great time and a wonderful adventure.
I went with Disney last year, and it was amazing! It'll be more expensive than other cruise lines, but the service is intense. They fall over themselves to make the stay wonderful, and the food is pretty decent (I wasn't a big fan of the French night, but the rest was good, and there's always tons of food available by the pool. You WILL gain weight on this one!). A lot of the activities are geared for younger children, though. Other cruise lines offer skating rinks or rock climbing walls, and Disney doesn't have that. Still, there were plenty of comedy acts and other shows in the evenings, and even if you don't have children, you can find plenty to do. The Disney island is also great, assuming that will be one of the ports of call. You'll have fun with this one. What do you think about cruise line?
You have choosen a top cruise company. Disney does it right. They have great programs geared to all age groups. The Disney ships are designed for kids of all ages. You and your GF will have the time of your life. Do all the activities and get involved. Its an unforgetable experience, but as you know-its quite expensive. Enjoy
