Does being a SAG member increase my chances of becoming a disneyland face character?

So im 17 and planning on auditioning for a character at disneyland when i turn 18 in may. My best friend got a job being Aurora for disney cruise line and it sounds like such an amazing job! So I've been a member of SAG (screen actors guild) for about 10 years now and I was wondering if that would increase my chances of possibly getting some kind of job as a character at disneyland?

And if someone could please describe the audition process to me please that'd be greatly appreciated :)

thank youu!!Does being a SAG member increase my chances of becoming a disneyland face character?
The experience would help, certainly, but just membership won't. The park doesn't use SAG but another union for its character performers.

The audition is a cattle call. They see large groups of people and make immediate cuts based on appearance and height. Then smaller groups are called and taught a simple dance, more cuts. Survivors are given a script to read, more cuts. Then they'll do makeup and wigs, more cuts.Does being a SAG member increase my chances of becoming a disneyland face character?
I definitely think that can boost your chances to getting a character job for disneyland. Because you have so much experience with screen acting, you can get in because you know what you are doing.

Good luck getting that job, and sorry I couldn't explain the process.
