Where is a good place to go to eat that is kind of like benihanas?

I'm trying to find a place for my friend and mothers birthday since they are on the same day. I am looking for a place like Benihanas but it doesn't have to serve seafood. I just want a place that has a good atmosphere and invovles the customers in what they do. Somewhere in southern california please.Where is a good place to go to eat that is kind of like benihanas?
There's Karuta Japanese restaurant in Buena Park, CA. It's on the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Orangethorpe Avenue (if you're familiar with the area). It's exactly the same style as a Benihana.

There is a place out in Riverside, CA on magnolia ave. called "Ok SUSHI" the cooks are funny like crazy..
You can do Mongolian Grill in the mall
Go to a Korean BBQ and order the steak (gulbobi I think it's called)... they cook it at the table and give you all kinds of great stuff. Even my very meat %26amp; potatoes husband loves it.
There is this place call Gyu kaku where you grill on your table yourself. It's amazing- trust me it's soooooooo much better than benihanna. plus at the end of the meal you get to make smores on your tables fire pit.
