Royal Caribbean Cruise line or the Disney Cruise line?

Hubby and I are planning a Caribbean cruise, we will be taking our soon to be 2 years old. We will be going to Walt Disneyworld for a week, a week on the Florida coast then the cruise. I have always wanted to go on Royal Caribbean but after doing research I see the Disney Cruise lines have bigger state rooms, also I am HUGE Disney fan and think that Disney does everything just perfect. We plan on taking a cruise once a year so sticking to one cruise line would be smartest and I love the things that Royal Caribbean has to offer, really I am having a hard time here, please give me your opinions and ideas ~Thanks~Royal Caribbean Cruise line or the Disney Cruise line?
My two cents goes to Royal Caribbean hands down. They have the most innovative ships in the industry, and maybe more importantly, they have over 20 ships compared to Disney's 2 ships. That means many more choices of destination for you. Disney is known for their high fares. Most likely you'll get more on RCCL while paying less. That's a win/win in my book.

Good luck.
You do have a tough choice here.

You indicate that you think "Disney does everything just perfect" so I'm afraid that anything Royal Caribbean offers may not measure up to your expectations... yet you also indicate that you "love the things that Royal Caribbean has to offer."

DCL may have larger staterooms (I haven't checked; I'm not at all interested in cruising Disney) but in general they also have significantly larger prices.

I also wonder whether after a week at Disney World, your family might be "Disneyed out" and the DCL cruise might be a bit much. You may find that your 2-yr-old is terrified of the characters - it happens sometimes around that age.Royal Caribbean Cruise line or the Disney Cruise line?
I haven't been on Disney but I have been on RCI. I heard disney is a good children's ship, so it would be good for families. Also, their horns play the disney tune.

RCI is a great line too. Their food is not great, but their ships are new and there's a lot of stuff to do. The service is pretty good.

But, disney cruise line might be a better choice although you might get tired of Disney after going to disney world. too much disney.

Don't just stick to one cruise line. There are many other cruise lines out there that offer differnet things. For example, Carnival has better food and Princess has more pools.
If its about your kid go on Disney there more Family and kid friendly. Other than that diff go Royal Caribbean imo there alot better.

RC food is better imo and the crew was alot better imo.

Ps whatever u do dont go on Carnival there crap
disney, definetly. i went on one, it was FABULOUS.
for family you will want to go on disney, they have lots of family oriented things. the staterooms are bigger as i have been on both of those cruise lines. i wouldn't stick to just one cruise line as you child grows up it would be fun for you to go on a royal caribbean cruise. the newer ships are so big you cant feel them move and there is so much to do for every age group. disney has great things for kids to do so for now i would go on disney. there are lots of times where the characters are around and there are great shows. disney does tend to be on the more expensive side though.

don't do carnival they don't have much and you wouldn't have fun. if i were you i would do the four day cruise on disney and on royal caribbean the newer ships have the seven day cruises.
