Disney Princess:What is the schedule like working on their cruise line?

I'm going to an audition on Tuesday to be a Disney Princess Look-a-like for their Disney Cruise line. On their website it said it would be a 9 month contract. I wondered if that meant we would be on the ship for 9 months straight, or if it was 1 week on, 1 week off sort of thing. I wanted to be more prepared so I know how to balance my schedule. Any information would be awesome! Thanks!Disney Princess:What is the schedule like working on their cruise line?
9 months straight with almost zero time off. limited free time off the ship while in port and even when you are not in character there will be duties/practicing.

you will live on board in very small cramped quarters. and not be allowed to wander about the main areas of the ship while not in character.
You will be allowed to visit any part of the ship as part of the entertainment staff. Do not listen to that other poster. However, you can expect to work everyday for the entire contract. Unlike the service crew, your hours will not be so intense, especially on port days. It will still be hard work though. Have fun!Disney Princess:What is the schedule like working on their cruise line?
You would be onboard for 9 month straight. Normally 7 days a week - 10-15 hrs/day

Before the interview, I would read about life onboard on the Disney cruise site and at www.cruiselinesjobs.com
