I hope to go on them one day but everytime I picture myself on the boat, the movies "Ghost Ship," "Poseidon," and "Titanic" come to mind. I don't wanna die by some mechanical accident, or a rogue wave, or an ice berg! How can I have fun on the ship without any worries of trouble?
If you've been on the ships, what's the best part of the ship? Does everyone end up at Castaway Keys (the island at the end of the trip)?
...and more importantly how much will it cost!?Has anyone gone on vacation aboard the Disney Cruise Lines?
i bet you just saw the disney cruise thing on travel channel.there are no icebergs in florida and theirs a better chance of lightning striking you then dieng on one of those.florida water is warm so if you sink you will live and they have rafts.yes everyone ends up at castaway keys.the best part is seeing the big haunted ship thing from pirates of the carabean.
i just forgot how much it costs.sorry
Well, it is very expensive. I have been on a cruise, but not a Disney cruise. The boats are really quite safe. You will be fine, and you would have tons of fun!
*Inside Stateroom from $799* per person (Category 11)
*Oceanview Stateroom from $999* per person (Category 9)
*Kids cruise for $399* per person in all stateroom categoriesHas anyone gone on vacation aboard the Disney Cruise Lines?
rates are a bit expensive for Disney, but it's a great cruise for families %26amp; kids. You do stop at Castaway Cay, so yes everyone onboard goes there....it's a nice beach island with lots of things to do. They have scavenger hunts for the kids, snorkeling, water trikes and more.
The onboard entertainment is great...all Disney themed, and the caracters are all onboard and will even tuck the kids into bed at night.
Don't worry. The ships are very large, and you hardly know you're even on a ship.
I've been on Disney Wonder. Disney cruises are very expensive. You will stop at Castaway Cay - it's their own private island. Lots to do there. THere is an adult only beach, and a "kids" beach.
Tons of things to do on the cruise. Was not that impressed with the food on the Disney cruise line though - I like Royal Carribbean better.
