For those who have been on Disney Cruise Line...?

I went with my family when I was around 10 or 11 years old to the Disney Cruise. I absolutely LOVED it and it was an amazing experience.

I'm now turning 15.

I'll be 16 next year and I'm planning a cruise with my friends for my 16th bday. I was thinking about the Disney Cruise again, but i'm not too sure. I thought that the free sodas/drinks were cool, and if you wanted to stay late at whatever kids club, you didn't have to pay an extra hourly fee like you do on Royal Caribbean.

But Im gonna be 16 and I feel that Disney may be too....childish for me and my friends? But I have also heard that once you are on Disney, all other cruise lines either seem like party boats or just not as high quality.

I'm only stuck between Disney and RC. No carnival or anything else is in mind.

Whats the best for teens? We may still going to the teens club they have on board to meet people, but I don't wanna be treated like a 2 year old, you know?

But, i heard its hard to transition from Disney to somewhere else.

Is RC good for teens? And how hard was it to leave Disney? For those who have been on Disney Cruise Line...?
Royal Caribbean all the way.
Keep in mind that when you went on Disney, you were still a kid, and there was a whole lot more for you to do. Royal Caribbean has so much more to do for teenagers, it has something for everyone. Disney is more kid friendly, and is made for 10-11 year olds. On Royal Caribbean, once you enter the teen club (which you would obviously be in), you don't need to pay hourly fees like you did when you were younger. They expect you to stay later. Disney will just be full of 10 year olds running around you while you are trying to tan in the sun! Is that really what you want? Yes, you do have to buy a soda card. But believe me my friend, that is worth it. I know Disney does it for free, but remember Royal is also less expensive. The casino is on a lower level, away from the shopping and the swimming, so all of those crazy adults are far away. Yes, Royal does have alcohol, but of course you need to follow the legal drinking age.

Hope I helped!

I am taking my 15 year old niece coupon the new Disney Dream cruise ship next month. She has looked into what they have for teens and the Vibe club for 13-17 year olds has really caught her interest, its open until 2a.m. nightly. They are also offering a teen only excursion coupon their private island that she is booked on.For those who have been on Disney Cruise Line...?
I have never been on a Disney cruise or a Royal Caribbean cruise, but we do have two planed in August and February of next year and they are both Royal Caribbean. However we have been on Carnival twice and they were so much fun! And I do think Disney is to childish for any on older then like 12. Plus carnival is for young adults and teens that just wanna have fun! Royal Caribbean is kinda for older couples, kids, and sometimes tweens. And Disney is just for little kids and older kids who still want to be little. Carnival is definatly the best for teens. And which ever one you chose here are some websites:

icruise.com, cruisenow.com, cruise.com, (for Royal Caribbean) royalcaribbeanvoyages.com, hotwire.com, orbitz.com, and travelroos.com.

~Hope it helps! And have fun on which eva one you chose!
If you loved Disney you're going to be disappointed with your experience anywhere else until you're of legal drinking age and then you're going to LOVE carnival.

I really enjoy taking my god daughters on Disney. I had fun, they had fun and it was an all around wonderful experience. Now that my god daughter is over 18 I take her on Carnival and she can drink down in Mexico and she has a responsible but good time.
