Royal-10! :)
Norweigin-7
Princess-8
carnival-5
disney-6
Royal is the best because it takes the best of all the other cruise lines and uses it. Norweigin only has freestyle dining, which royal now has. Princess is a quieter ship, like royal but with less kids. Carninval is the ultimate "party" ship, it has the typical neon lights and mirors all over the place. and Disney is nice, but dosent have a casino and you have to be very aware that there are gonna be lots and lots of kids.Cruise line quesitonsssss?
I've been on 3 Disney cruises, and I've noticed a lot of people have rated it mediocre, so I'll tell you my perspective (I've only been on Disney cruises, no other cruise lines). The first cruise I went on was when I was 10, the second when I was 14, and the latest cruise I went on two weeks ago - I was/am 16.
YES, there is LOADS of kids (especially on the new ship, which can hold 4,000 passengers) and YES, there is no casino, but that doesn't mean adults will not have fun. The first time I went I was throughly entertained and had a lot of fun. My second cruise I was a bit iffy since I was a teenager, but I was very wrong.
It may seem like Disney is catered towards children, which is partly true, but there is tons of things that are teen and adult exclusive. The new Disney Dream has many adult lounges and adult-exclusive events, and the age groups are broken down if you're younger than 18. Teens, pre-teens, kids, and toddlers all have respective activities and "clubs" they can attend.
I GUARANTEE you can go on a Disney cruise without being bothered by children - not everything on board is meant for them, Disney planned it out so parents and adults can enjoy their vacation as well. Honestly, in less you can't bear the sight of children, I think adults and children enjoy it alike. I know many adults who don't have kids who have been on several Disney cruises.
I'm not saying that Disney is the best cruise line out there, but from my experiences; the service, entertainment, and overall atmosphere of Disney is paramount from what I've heard of others. It's definitely worth the price in my eyes.
However, it all comes down to what you're looking for. If you're a very out-going and fun-loving person, then Disney has what you want. If you're a much more subtle person, and want to enjoy a relaxing and quiet vacation, I suggest Princess or Celebrity. The type of person you are will dwindle down your choices - you need to find a cruise line that tailors to what you want/need.
I know I'm sounding very sales-like, but I'm just trying to convince you to not just rule it out. A lot of repeat cruisers have told me that once you go Disney, you can't go back.
RC: 6
Norweigan: 8
Princess: 8
Carnival: 9
Disney:8 (but it is great for kids)
I love Carnival, it is my cruise line of choice, very friendly staff, a lot of nice people go on these ships, the ships are clean 24/7, they are big with plenty of activities and GREAT shows.
Ive only ever been on Carnival (going on my third in just 35 days!)
So i can only speak for carnival, and i absolutely love them! My grandparents have been on alot of cruises and they say for family experiences, carnival is the best. it really depends what kind of experience your looking for.
Norwegian and Princess are two different companies, so
Princess = 8
Royal Caribbean=8
Disney=9
Norwegian=7
Holland America=8
Cunard=9
Carnival =6
I base this on reading reviews, experience, and reading many comments from all of these cruise lines.
