Nowadays, you can get in about 3 days ahead of time. Add another day or two because of the holidays or if you have a large party. During weekdays, you can probably walk in and spend no more than 15 minutes wait time. zHow far in advance can you make dinner reservation to benihanas?
If you want a weekend dinner during the holidays, I would reserve at least a week in advance.
